Pastor Joseph Carty is our new pastor at the Auburn Seventh-day Adventist Church as of August 2020.
After being reconverted Joseph left a career in engineering to serve the Lord. First, he served as a missionary in Albania with Adventist Frontier Missions. Next, he spent nearly two years as a Bible worker in Arkansas and Oklahoma. During this time, Joseph felt a calling to pastoral ministry and began seeking a degree in Theology while working as a full-time Bible Worker.
In 2011 Joseph received a call to serve as a district pastor in Nebraska. Joseph finished his Theology degree online through Southwestern Adventist University online while working in his first district.
After a few years, Joseph moved to Michigan and was enrolled in the Master’s of Divinity program at Andrews University. Upon completing his Master’s with an emphasis in Systematic Theology Joseph returned to Nebraska to serve a second district.
Pastor Joseph is passionate about serving God and reaching the lost. He loves to preach Christ-centered sermons that call us to a deeper walk with our Lord.
