Greetings Auburn Church Family,
Barrow County summer food program for the children of Barrow County ends in June. Tami Smith is organizing non-perishable food items to make up food bags for those in need from the Auburn Elementary School.
The church will be open Sabbath morning from 9:30 am-12:30 pm for drop off of food donations. You may leave your donations in the foyer. Donations will be accepted each Sabbath throughout the months of June and July. We are only set up to handle non-perishable items. Thank you in advance for your help.
Tami is lead in this ministry with a support team from Auburn. Please know that not only is this ministry her passion, but she also is extremely organized and will take extraordinary care to create a safe environment for her team and those families being helped. If you would like to join this group and provide additional help besides food please contact Tami Smith.
Also, we are accepting donations for the AES school supplies. We are grateful for our members that so willingly give to help the students have the needed “tools” to begin a successful school year. Your donations are tax deductible so just mark your tithe envelope, “Tiger Fund.”
